Exactly this whole "Is Ben Affleck going to play Batman?" was a rumor started by the mainstream FAKE geek culture blogs and it all started because of the sad affleck meme. Just look at this thread, they would ask him over and over again if he would play Batman and he always said yes, after like a year of people asking him he finally said something along the likes of "I'll need to see the script" and then people went crazy. Just look at all the links on this thread about it, it's been archived here.
