Well I mean that's just to refer to everyone who'd been playable in previous games. Obviously they couldn't mean
everyone in video games of all time, or even everyone in an Nintendo game.
Although Waluigi is another one who has been oft-requested, like Bomberman he's been shown to be relegated to be an Assist Trophy.
