Cubed trust me on this, you are NOT middle-aged. At 40, I can now say that (assuming Iake it to 80) I have literally gone through HALF my lifespan. You still have a way to go yet. Be glad of the time you have and for heaven's sake, get outside and LIVE a little once in a while! Enjoy nature, do something new, visit a museum or art gallery, a poetry reading, or a play. Go to a botanical garden or the zoo- New York has some of the best cultural and history exhibits in the world! Read the Times or Washington Post(it still has Spidey comic strips), National Geographic, or Newsweek. Something different. Broaden your horizons while you are still young enough to appreciate different perspectives and experiences.
