I'm pretty sure it's fake. While I wouldn't have any problem with it, I could see a lot of parents having a huge problem with it. Not because of the lesbian angle... but because of the stealth lesbian angle.
Let me explain.
You let your kids watch Frozen 1. They fall in love with Elsa. The kids see previews for Frozen 2 years later, beg to see it. Oh. It turns out Elsa is a lesbian, and was the whole first movie your kid(s) saw years ago, and part 2 is a big lesbian romance. Now it's in their head and in front of them, with characters they idolized from earlier in their childhood.
Not saying there's anything inherently wrong with any of this on a narrative or story basis, I'm just saying -- guaranteeing -- there'd be outcry. And TPTB would surely avoid this. It'd be one thing if Frozen 1 had kicked in the door and firmly planted the lesbian flag... what the rumor suggests is something else entirely.
