I’m sorry, but that is not true. More children, teenagers, and adults knew the Turtles well after the first live-action film was shown in American movie theaters. As the website Den of Geek puts it, “In 1990 the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were at the absolute peak of their popularity.“

Batman TAS was influential just like Aeon Flux was and so was Simpsons! Batman TAS influenced the likes of Gargoyles to Spawn TAS and more.
