Maybe it's possible for a father to pass on a likelihood of it to a daughter? (Unless that's strictly through female genes.) But I don't think there's really any way for he himself to cause twins to happen.

Interesting. I would think that a man could carry a genetic tendency towards hyper-ovulation... but I'm not sure.
It's odd that there isn't a genetic link to egg division, but it would seem that it is random. Very interesting.
