zero connection to the PD films. They're not based on them in any way whatsoever. Even if they were, I don't see what point it would make. Japanese adult collector goods always usually drop a year two after the initial release of that which they are based on, sometimes longer. There are OOTS figures that haven't even come out yet (& rumor is they're being cancelled due to a lack of interest).
