Here's a few under the radar SNES games that I've enjoyed over the years. If you can find them at a cheap price, you might want to give them a try!
X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems
[Both of these Capcom Marvel games look and control fairly close to the classic 32-bit Capcom fighting games, but while the animation is smooth it's also PAINFULLY slow]
Sunset Riders [one of the 2 best Western-styled games on SNES! The other being...]
Wild Guns [colorful and fun shoot 'em up]
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Aladdin [not as good as the Genesis version, but it's different enough to keep one entertained!]
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose

Battletoads & Double Dragon didn't really live up to my expectations, but I've yet to track down Battlemaniacs.
