Mistakes:
1. If Leonardo thinks he's D'Artagnan, then he should be speaking in a French accent, not an English one.
2. When Krang gives his flackback about transporting the Imperbuim with other Krangezoids, he is still a brain along with other Krangezoids, but he had a humanoid body before being exiled to Earth, where he then removed it.
3. Right as Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady get into the transport module, they all look for the Imperbium Gem, and Rocksteady is holding the little generator for it, but the Gem is already on the generator.
4. The teeth grille on the Turtle Van's bumper was not present when Michelangelo told Donatello to come to the parade.

Catchphrase Countdown:
1. While Krang is protected by the Imperbium's shield, he says "I am invincible!"
2. Donatello calls Shredder "Tin Grin" right as he attacks him with his bo to the transport module.

Pizza References:
1. The Turtles are eating grape jelly pizza as they watch "Revenge of the Polkadot Slime, Part 5".
2. Michelangelo tells Leonardo to "wake up and smell the pizza" while he is fainted in the jewelry store.

Pop Culture References:
1. Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is celebrated, and includes a parade with floats and people dressed in various costumes.
2. The title and theme of this episode is a reference to the 1844 novel "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas. April dresses like a 17th-century noblewoman right out of the novel, and shows a copy of this book. Various quotes from the book are said, mainly by Leonardo. Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are costumed as Athos, Porthos, and Aramis.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
Michelangelo says that he feels so corny talking like a Musketeer as the Turtles come to battle, right before Leonardo's "spell" wears off.

Wacky Invention:
Krang's Imperbium Generator

Kidnappings:
1. Irma is kidnapped by Shredder because she has the Star of Brazil diamond that he's seeking.
2. April is kidnapped by Shredder as she tries to rescue Irma, and becomes his slave.

Notables:
1. The first episode in which Krang's android body is shown to move by itself, meaning it has an autopilot setting.
2. The Foot Soldiers in this episode have a yellow Foot Clan symbol on their heads instead of the standard red.
3. The first appearance of the Channel 6 News Copter.
