I recently picked up The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells at my school library. This book sounds pretty intrestin' and I read like the first five pages of it. I'm really intrugied by Wells' view of Martins and how they would react if they invaded Earth. This is the longer version cuz it has an afterword by Isaac Asimov. That tells how Mars rotates on its axis and has all this mathematical stuff. The cover has white on it as opposed to the black on that's shorter and has less pictures on both covers. I'm pointin' out the differences if anyone has read the book and if they know there's two versions or they don't. I'll hafta scan the cover some time. I recommend this book to anyone that needs to feed they're sci fi addiction or just wants to read about Martians invadin' Earth.
