I think there's a huge viability in special releases of movie scores on vinyl. See above.
The market seems to be doing very well. Gorgeous jacket art, to boot. Just because it's released on vinyl doesn't mean there won't be a CD release.
Time will tell!
I'm buying either way, but I would prefer vinyl.
