I dont think this says what you are wanting it to say. Go read it. Everyone else is talking about gun violence and crime. You cite this that says there is more 'gun violence" because of suicides which Rural america always has had more of. Considering the conditions of the pandemic and all that I can see why considering how widespread rural america can be. Interesting quote:

"From 2011 to 2020, the most rural counties had a 46% lower rate of gun homicide deaths than the most urban counties but a 76% higher rate of gun suicide deaths, according to Reeping’s analysis."

Can you cite a source that supports your view that has something to do with your claim?
