Well, they've released an absolute ton of anime movies, and I didn't realize the show is
still running and has been consistently since 1997 - so that property's obviously doing just fine without Hollywood. The risk couldn't possibly be worth it.
Though, on the topic of Nintendo: I can imagine Legend of Zelda and Pixar-style Mario movies turning out really well if a really talented team put the effort in. Which is a long shot. But there's a ton of potential.
