Well, obviously unless you're doing a version for kids. I say they should also throw us adults a bone and do direct to Blu-ray animated movies with a more adult feel pretty much like what DC/WB does. There's no sense catering just to one demographic which is idiotic.
And yes, I think Farley's style would be a perfect blend.
