Omnibus vol. 1 collects Tales vol 1 #1-7 and Tales vol 2 #1-8, this is vol.1-4 of the IDW tpbs. So if this is gonna be continued the Omnibus vol.2 gonna have vol.5-8. And from that point they can choose to stuck with releasing only the omnibus series.
In just three volumes more they could finish the whole run (5 omnibus volumes all).
Another observation:
The size of the tpbs is: 6.6 x 10.2 inches / 16,8 x 26 cm
The size of the omnibus: 6 x 9 inches / 15,2 x 22,9 cm
