Turtles are a challenge to do in a more realistic style in general, I think. They work best stylized, not so well IRL.

this is the only TMNT art of his that i could find, so i think it's safe to say he's fairly new at it.
i think if he draws more Turtles he'll improve?
i absolutely love his Batman art. i also just read a story he did with Grant Morrison called 'Joe the Barbarian' that had really great art!
