Saw episode one and I am hooked.

The tone is perfect. It's dark and gritty, but not in a manufactured way like Gotham. It feels natural.

Music is spot-on. Actors are wonderful. Cinematography and directing is great as well.

It's very interesting to see a show whose main character can't even see himself. I have to constantly remind myself that Murdock can at best use his other heightened senses to figure out what's going on, and can't simply comprehend his surroundings visually.

Many clues in TV shows are gathered by the characters visually, like a label or writing of some kind; can a blind man be as effective at taking down a crime empire? Guess I'll see.

I love it, and I've heard nothing but overwhelming praise for the show from others. Will definitely continue.
