Are the roaches the spine breaking bandit(s)? Probably just a coincidence for the sake that it rhymes, but they did threaten to breaks Raph's.
edit: Video quality plus screen recorder (plus coloration/lighting/quality in the ep itself for that bit?) didn't get the kind of image quality I had hoped for, but managed to turn it into a gif.
