Kids are cruel and jerks to each other. I don't think they're truly aware sometimes of what they're doing tbh. I mean, I remember a lot of people back up until 10th grade being tools and jerks to others, but nowadays are normal functional adults and no longer do that. I'm not excusing or defending their former behaviour btw.
What's even worse is when people keep bullying others as adults. Workplace bullying is a thing.

That is true. I never understood that, tbh. If I was so popular, had good grades, a great home life and such why would I feel the need to be an ass to people who don't have those things? If anything, someone as equally popular and successful would be way more likely to stab me in the back, since they'd have the power to do so.
