I know I'm a little late to the game here, but I just wanted to jump back to this. Comparing it to the slot before isn't the best indicator. That
SpongeBob episode probably had its ratings elevated by airing before a big premiere.
Anyway, as huge as the numbers have been huge for a cable children's show, it's also important to remember that it's not only banking on ratings, but much more so the toys and merchandise it pushes. So we'd better hope kids are not only watching, but pestering their parents at Target on a regular basis.
