Okay, back. This episode did everything The Gauntlet did right by managing to have the perfect mix of suspense, comedy, action, and plot advancement. So much for 24-odd minutes.
Bullet time:
- I usually groan at mute mutants-of-the-week, but somehow the Newtralizer just worked. In a lot of ways he was introduced just like Traag was, but the Newtralizer was a lot more memorable. Maybe it was all of the weapons?
- Newtralizer.actually.ate.Kraang. Wow.
- My theory on Kirby: he's been brainwashed. Keep in mind that he's a psychologist, not a scientist-scientist when forming your theories
- Donnie and Mikey have come really far since the Mouser episode. There really isn't much difference between the A and B teams now.
- Why did April just wander off alone? Ugh, I get it she's supposed to be spunky and independent, but that was just stupid.
- I love how the Kraang but on their fancy suits to meet Shredder.
- Good guy Raph is awesome.
