This actually interest me. Murder mystery with super villains yet simple.Its like the early 70s' and Hush melded into one. Hope I am not overly sold on it.

Its not Firefly then. Was it ever said why Garfield Lynns was killed off and replaced with the originial one-shot Firefly, Ted Carson?
