The oldest contestant in Survivor history and a part of the original group in 2000 has died. He first took part at age 72 and returned four years later at 76. His warm,wit, and tactical knowledge made him a personality, however he served as one of the earliest SEALs from 1944 until he retired in 1990. Rudy is a personality respected by everyone but more importantly as a patriot that inspires. He died Saturday night of alzheimers at age 91.
