Also, in the Season 3 (I think episode) "Invasion of the Turtle Snatchers," April celebrates her 1-year anniversary working for Channel 6 News, suggesting that not much time had passed between the first 3 seasons.

Even "Elementary, My Dear Turtle" telsl they travelled backwards in time from 1990 to 1890.
