LOL @ idea that all fighting games should have 3D fighting. It's like saying that all games should use 3D graphics and there should be no games with 2D graphics. Such a limited view.
As for the project - it doesn't look good. Crappy models with strange faces and proportions, the whole plasticy look of the game. Like it belongs to PS3 rather than modern era. And of course, Capcom favorite scum practices.
Maybe I will buy it one day, but it certainly won't be this year, unless reviews are glowing, which I suspect won't be the case.
