Episode 188: The Power of Three
Written by: Jeffrey Scott

Voice Cast:
Cam Clarke: Leonardo, Mung
Townsend Coleman: Michelangelo, Bill
Pat Fraley: Krang, Cab Driver
Barry Gordon: Donatello
Michael Gough: Raphael
Renae Jacobs: April O'Neil
Tony Jay: Lord Dregg
Bill Martin: Shredder
Peter Renaday: Splinter, Trolley Conductor
Bumper Robinson: Carter

Mistakes:
1. April's Dodge Viper has back seats, but real-life Vipers only have two front seats. Plus, her Viper is a coupe, but in previous episodes, it was a roadster.
2. Michelangelo's "M" is white instead of gray in the shot of Splinter, Carter, Michelangelo, and Donatello in Donatello's Lab.

Catchphrase/Insult Countdown:
1. Dregg tells Mung from the Dreggnaught's dinning room about getting rid of those meddling reptiles.
2. Michelangelo says "Cowabunga, dudes" when he says that he found a surfboard in the sewers.
3. Dregg tells Shredder and Krang after they arrive on Earth to destroy the Turtles.
4. Dregg calls Mung and his Bat-Men fools as Shredder and Krang start to attack them and flee.
5. Krang calls Dregg a fool after he and Shredder arrive on the street.
6. The Turtles say "Turtle Power!" when they draw their weapons to fight after being transported to the power plant.
7. Shredder calls Michelangelo a repugnant reptile after he grabs him.
8. Dregg calls Shredder and Krang fools after Krang straps Dregg onto a bed when he and Shredder try to become the new leaders.

Pop Culture References:
1. The title of this episode may be in reference to the 1976 children's novel by Diana Wynne Jones or the Doctor Who episode.
2. Raphael tells Michelangelo not to play too much Virtual Invaders, in reference to the video game Space Invaders, before bedtime.
3. The Newspan tower is a parody of the television channel C-SPAN.
4. After the Turtles land after a series of falls in the sewers, Michelangelo says that it was better than Wally's Water World, a reference to the many water theme parks.
5. After the Turtles are taken to the Dreggnaught, Michelangelo says that their lives have been reduced to a B-movie.
6. Donatello tells Dregg from his prison pod that he has cosmic consciousness.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
None in this episode

Wacky Invention:
Dregg's Energy Draining System

Kidnappings:
1. The Turtles and April are defeated in battle to Shredder and are tied up and transported to the Dreggnaught. The Turtles are trapped in four pods lying down while April is trapped inside a cylindrical pod surrounded by lasers.
2. Shredder and Krang are kidnapped by Dregg and Mun and are strapped and cuffed up to two operating tables. Later, in the next episode, Krang is shown to be imprisoned in a similar way to April.

Notables:
1. First appearances of Shredder and Krang since "Turtle Trek".
2. The flashback scene of the Turtles, Shredder, and Krang was never used in a previous episode.
3. After the Turtles see Shredder on the Turtlecom, Michelangelo refers to Shredder as Metalhead, a character seen earlier in this series.
4. The episode ends with a "TO BE CONTINUED..." graphic, only the second time in this series with the other being after "Planet of the Turtleoids, Part 1".
5. This episode is just over 22 1/2 minutes long (including intro and outro), the shortest since the syndicated episodes.

Episode 189: A Turtle in Time
Written by: Jeffrey Scott

Voice Cast:
Roxanne Beckford: Merrick
Cam Clarke: Leonardo, Mung
Townsend Coleman: Michelangelo
Pat Fraley: Krang
Barry Gordon: Donatello
Michael Gough: Raphael
Renae Jacobs: April O'Neil
Tony Jay: Lord Dregg
Bill Martin: Shredder
Peter Renaday: Splinter
Bumper Robinson: Carter
Kevin Schon: Landor

Mistake:
Michelangelo is seen with Raphael's colors when he speaks from the cylindrical laser cell after the Turtles are re-captured.

Catchphrase/Insult Countdown:
1. Dregg calls the Bat-Men fools after Shredder escapes from the Energy Draining System's chamber.
2. The Turtles say "Go Green Team" after they are freed from the Energy Draining System's pods.
3. After the Turtles are kidnapped in the cylindrical laser cells, Michelangelo says that the Turtle Power is out.
4. Krang says "Oh no" when he loses his Bubble Walker.
5. 1994 Michelangelo says "Cowabunga" as the 1994 Turtles and Carter get Vortex Transported to the Dreggnaught.
6. Dregg calls the 1994 Turtles fools when he first meets them in battle. He then calls them foolish creatures a little later in the same battle.

Pop Culture References:
1. The title of this episode is in reference to the arcade and Super Nintendo game Turtles in Time.
2. The 1994 Raphael tells Landor that he's lost from the first turn he took into the Twilight Zone after the 1994 Turtles arrive in Donatello's Lab.
3. 1994 Leonardo tells 1994 Donatello that there is no time for a lecture on Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
4. 1994 Michelangelo says "Fire Drill" when he uses his grappler to knock down a fire extinguisher at a Bat-Man.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
None in this episode.

Wacky Inventions:
1. The Intruder Tranquilizer Scan System
2. The Dreggnaught's Virtual Reality Simulator
3. The Subspace Amplification Chip
4. Mung's Invasion Robot Cops

Kidnapping:
The Turtles are trapped in four cylindrical laser cells similar to April's after Dregg uses the Turtles' Ninja powers on them.

Notables:
1. An extra Krang is seen on Dregg's head as Shredder and the real Krang try to escape via the Vortex Transporter. This idea becomes more well known in the 2003 4kids series where the Shredder is protected by a Utrom.
2. Unlike in "Once Upon a Time Machine" which consisted of Turtles from the present and the future, this episode and the next consist of Turtles from the present and from the past. This idea would later be exposed in the 2009 Made-For-TV movie Turtles Forever.
3. This episode consists of a flashback scene from the episode "Turtle Trek", and the theme from the outro of "Planet of the Turtleoids" and the alternative Technodrome theme briefly play. It is also the first appearance of the Technodrome since "Turtle Trek", though it is set in the past during that particular episode.
4. At around 21 minutes and 15 seconds, this is the shortest episode aired for CBS up to this point.
5. Third an final episode to end with "TO BE CONTINUED..."
