Guys, if anyone is interested in a story that 'fixes' the Platinum Dunes Micheal Bay/TMNT universe, then please Check out my story "TMNT: Trouble in the Tropics". It's set after out of the shadows, and in it I address every (And I mean EVERY) problem that makes this continuity not feel like TMNT (Learning from a book, hulking turtle sizes, no Oroku Saki/Hamato Yoshi connection, etc.) If you hated the two films, I urge you to read this, and see how I repaired the damage. The jarring POV shifts in the narrative are a result of it supposed to be a novel Mikey is trying to write, with Leo's first person notes and commentary inserted in from time to time. By the end of the story, I swear you will at least be able to tolerate the Platinum Dunes universe if you include my story in the canon. Thank you for your time.
