Maybe in my case, where I was very clearly being prayed on as a child. In that case it was scary, but a grown man getting leered at seems like it would be very different from a woman being hounded by dirt bags, which I would imagine is off-putting and frightening no matter how old you are.
Although, that's not exactly something I can speak to.
