Agreed, and publically broadcasting it is disgusting. It's always the damn fathers that care about this stuff and it is creepy and perverted feeling. Also a serious double standard that people only care about their daughters' "virginity" and not their sons'.
If I had kids I would explain sex to them, explain why people have it, explain the consequences, but them some condoms, and make it very clear that I am there to support them and help them no matter their decision.
