I can see both sides of this story being true.
The man in question feeling victimized, while George believing he had consent.
Consent should be something that's relatively clear cut and well defined in theory, but in practice it's far less so.
That's one of the reasons I'm a big fan and supporter of the whole Yes means Yes movement. (ie: that the default answer to an unanswered question is No.)
