Well here's something... Callista Flockhart has been cast as Cat Grant! I was expecting somebody with a little more up front, instead it's somebody with less!

Also, Laura Benanti has been cast as Kara's mom, Alura. This is a recurring role as Alura will be Kara's guiding ghost thing like Jor El has been at times with Clark. I like this idea as her parents have mostly been essentially background noise in the past.
