Heat is the trick. I put mine in front of my space heater. Right in front of it gets pretty warm. They need to be soft but not too soft. Plastic should give but not seem like it is going to rip. I think I used vice grips wrapped in cloth to hold the neck while I separated it from the head. Heated the new head and neck to put them back on.
Was pretty cool neca sent me a whole Krang walker when all I needed was one of the feet. They also sent both sets of Shredders extra hands when I was only missing one hand. Great extras to have around.

I've been too scared to try it to be honest but I'll give it a go and apply some gentle heat and see what happens
Shouldn't have to be doing this with a high end product
