As long as it's good, I don't care if a cartoon did it. You know they're gonna change a bunch of stuff anyway, and about a billion people are going to go see a real movie that would never watch a cartoon, so it's all new to most people who'd go see it. It's also like 4 years away, anyway, that was just a broad strokes outline of what they're
rumored to be doing, and they have a lot of time to tweak things. I have a feeling that it won't be as similar to the cartoon as it seems.
They could do a lot worse, frankly. So long as it's good. I mean can you imagine if they tried to adapt any of the Morrison Batman stuff? You'd have people slitting their wrists in the theater screaming "What is
going on?!"
Be thankful if what's described above is what we do get; a cartoon movie is fine but a "real" movie is a much better place to tell that story.
