Nintendo purposely delayed it on Gamecube so the Wii version would sell better. I'm surprised they didn't do the same with the Wii-U version of Breath of the Wild compared to the Switch version.
I bought it on Wii-U, I'm not getting a Switch till probably November when Mario comes out.
