Tmnt has appeared in Death Battle before, but only the turtles. The first was a Ninja Turtles Battle Royale where Leonardo came out on top. Leonardo then went on to fight Zitz from Battle Toads and won again so tmnt has a pretty good track record on the show.
I don't know anything about Shredder's opponent, Silver Samurai, but as a tmnt fan, I will be cheering for Shredder
