NEW set of TMNT statues from Sideshow

Man all these statues and turtle collectibles coming out is getting crazy. I always liked turtles because it was manageable to collect but in the past few years it's just gotten away from me. The teaser is cool. Similar to the other sideshow set they're a fresh interpretation and not based on previous material.

Pretty sharp! I wanna say I like these better than their last set, at least where Leo is concerned.

Meh, I'm burnt out on all the TMNT stuff. There's simply too much to keep up with, or to care about.

Seems like such a short time ago that being a TMNT completionist was relatively easy. Anymore, it's like a car payment that never goes away.

The teaser doesn't do much for me, honestly. I have the Playmates statues, I have the Sideshow coms, and I'm leaning towards the Prime 1 Henson set. I have the Mondo set on order. What other iteration of turtles do I need, short of a legitimate set of toon turtles statues?

They look to be based off of this print they are doing.

Nice catch!

And yeah, I hear you I Crave Pizza No More. Whens enough enough? I have the Playmates ones, the Sideshow ones(+2 Mousers), and I skipped out on the Platinum Dunes movie statues for obvious reasons, but the Jim Henson designs have me very interested.

And you know where they all are? In my closet, in a box Until I have good enough space for them, there is where they'll remain.

These new ones look very cool, but I gotta draw the line somewhere. I'm thinking the lines here.

I don't see the appeal of this look at all.

Leo is $350 and goes onsale tomorrow. The exclusive is limited to 500 and comes with a red bandana head. There are tons of pics on Figures.com

I am glad I got the first Sideshow statues for $200 each!! Seems like they are really taking advantage of those who missed then.....almost doubling the price in only a couple of years. I got my massive 24" premium Sideshow Master Chief for $400...and these are 10" smaller!! I'm glad I'm not a fan of the style of these but good luck to those going for the exclusive tomorrow!!

These are live.

I jumped on this. I actually like the set and I can make them "red team"

I mean... yeah. I don't mind the designs, they're a little chunky for my tastes, but I like them more than, say, BayTurtles. That said, I don't see the appeal in paying $350 a pop for a redesign/"reimagining" kind of look like this.

What would be cool is if they'd do lines patterned after iconic comic artist's styles, like the Batman Black & White statues. Do a set of statues in an A.C. Farley style, or Mateus Santolouco, or Eric Talbot...

Good ideas...

I really like this style myself. There are pics of all 4 on Sideshow in an art print.

I love this design. Maybe I am alone...thats fine. I am buying.

They are also pretty huge...15x10x13. That might explain the costs a bit.

Pretty awesome video of all four. The size of the bases is blowing me away. Honestly like these more than the Prime-1. It's not Henson but it's still a premium statue and cheaper even.

Totally. I think instead of Donatello I may get Michelangelo. Decisions, decisions...

I would gladly change my original Sideshow set for those. I wasn't feeling the designs at first, but looking at the photos now I think they look great. The huge bases are great.

Yeah, I only have Donatello of the original Sideshow line, and I was never thrilled with it. I hate when the shell doesn't connect with the plastron, like the entire set of that first wave.

Sideshow has lost my business for good. What political BS ... they released the DONATELLO statue at 3pm EST, with NO option for the Exclusive. It was "invite only." Then when they finally made it public, you could only join a wait list. Screw you Sideshow. My money will remain mine from now on.
