1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)- Great film. Aside from Nick this is my favorite version of the franchise. The turtle designs are possibly my favorite turtle designs ever.
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)- okay movie. Lots of action which was good but what little story it had was copied from TASM. The turtles had a great brothers dynamic. However April and especially Shredder were handled badly. Vern was a good character.
3. Turtles Forever- what can I say. Three generations of Turtles group together to end both cartoons in an epic finale. OT turtles could have been a little better written but they are better than most say.
4. Secret of the Ooze- it's a pretty campy movie but there is still fun to be had. I basically think of it as live-action OT. I personally love the Ninja Rap, but Super Shredder wasn't so good.
5. TMNT- this was close to being 4. The Leo/Raph fight is spectacular. But it's all Leo and Raph and little Donnie and Mikey. Plus, boring villains.
6. TMNT 3- uuuuggggghhhhhh.

The first thing I did when I came home after I'd seen the new film was rewatch the original, and I was stunned how good this film actually is! I've seen it several times before but now was the first time that I really realized what a great film this is. It's got action, comedy, and most importantly some depth. I would certainly say it has aged well.

2. Secret of the Ooze
TMNT2 was my favorite flick growing up, and I still appreciate and love it just as much today, that is why I pick it for second spot. Sure, it's got flaws but I don't care. I don't understand all the trashtalk for this film, I love it!

3. Forever
I don't rate this as a "movie" in the same sense as the others, but what the heck! This is an awesome film and a real fan-pleaser. They really nailed it with this one.

4. TMNT
I don't really like the whole supernatural part of this film, it feels a bit out of place, but I do love the action. The Leo vs Raph is the obvious high point of this one.

5. III
Yeah, I'm rating TMNT3 higher than the new one, and you know why? Because I freakin' enjoy this film. I loved it growing up and I can still appreciate it for what it is, despite all the flaws. The rock-n-roll training session during the intro still gets me going.

6. 2014
Although I did (somewhat) enjoy the new film I must admit that I enjoyed all the others more. TMNT 2014 has great action and good comedy, but there is no depth and the story feels a bit strained. Yes, I know that Liebesman directed it but it is so obvious that Michael Bay has had a couple of fingers in the game here, and it just doesn't do it for me. It has it's luminous spots but they are rather few.

I finally saw the movie!!!! and I liked it *_____* it was so much fun and cheesy! (in a good way) Megan was really good too! I was pleasantly surprised about that! (Mikey was too hilarious~) The action so awesome....

It was a little fast though, but it didn't bother me too much.

so ranking~

-TMNT 2014
-turtles forever
-first movie
-second movie
-2007
-(I haven't watched the third movie yet...)

1990 - The best!!
Secret of the Ooze - Cheesy, but I think the nostalgia factor puts it on top of 2014 for me.
2014 - Flawed, but entertaining, with great action. The turtles and Splinter were great. Leaves much to look forward to in sequels
Turtles Forever - Great homage to the history of the turtles and the fact that they're gonna be around for a long time.
TMNT 2007/TMNT III - I just don't like either of these...aside from the Raphael vs Leo fight.

* i always count the East meets West arc of Next Mutation a small movie..it works best as aside from a few moments as its own thing, instead of the start of the series where it really goes down hill

Although I don't agree with putting II and III ahead of the new movie I do agree with you on the title. Especially since Leo was voiced by 40 something year old Johnny Knoxville, it would have made more sense for them to be adults, and would have avoided having two movies with the same title

I'm not counting Turtles Forever since it feels unfair to place it here due to being an extension of the 2003 TV show. So I'm only including the theatrical releases. That being said, I do really like Turtles Forever quite a bit.

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)
4. TMNT (2007)
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

I was debating on where exactly to put TMNT 2007 at. I feel it has a better story, characterization, and tone than the recent movie, but at the same time, other than the Leo vs. Raph fight, I kinda found that movie a little... boring. The new movie might have plot holes and other awful things up the wazoo, but it was definitely a lot more fun and enjoyable to watch, imo. And TMNT III, no matter how many times I see it, will always be irredeemable crap.

Had they taken the script of the 07 movie and made it live action like TMNT 2014 it would have been 10 times better. Part of the reason why I can't watch TMNT 07 today is the horrible animation that looks worse than the kids show on TV today

I've only seen Turtles Forever once, so I didn't want to place it. I'll have to re-watch it and then give this another go.

Pretty much how I'd rank them. Generally the top three in your list I love and watch repeatedly. The bottom three I can take or leave, not that I hate them, they just don't do much for me.

I'm not one to bash the personal preference of other people, but it is surprising to see the 2014 movie being rated so highly by so many people. It makes me wonder how much of it is just people wanting to go against the grain.

Tell me about it. Talk about mondo bizarro.

I was gonna make a list as well, but Grodd pretty much did it the way I would have.
