So it seems that
Spoiler:
Splinter and the other 3 turtles are down with Donatello working with Shredder.
It'll be interesting to see what they have planned.

Ah so,

Spoiler:
It turns out Leo's plan was to team up with Shredder and still backstab him at the same time. Downright devious. Remember, this apparently was planted in his head by the Rat King.

Spoiler:
If your last point turns out to be true, and RK is opposing Kitsune's endgame, makes one wonder what defeating Shredder will unleash on the world that might be even worse, sort of like how killing Galactus over at Marvel lets loose an even greater menace. The devil you know...

Cory Smith's art is quickly growing on me.

So originally Santalouco was supposed to be the main artist through #50 but he's been off and on the book since the end of City Fall. Is he being phased out? Can he just not keep up with the monthly schedule? What?

It was always stated, from the start, that we'd be giving Mateus breather arcs so that he could keep to schedule. He'll be doing the art for#45-50

Cory Smith is definitely my favorite. I feel he captures the individual characteristics and personalities, but doesn't make them feel too kiddy. Loving his Mikey!

Anyone still find it odd IDW made Fugitoid gold-plated instead of silver/metallic like the Mirage Fugitoid?

Nah. The Playmates Fugitoid figure was also gold colored, so it's not exactly unprecedented.

His Mikey is much, much better than Santolouco's.

Although I could handle him lengthening Mikey's bandanna tails some and making him normal.

Maybe it's great issue that people can't tear themselves away from it.

I haven't read it yet because I've only read up to issue 36 in vol 9 Trade paperback. When I get vol 10 next month i'm gonna get issue 41 and 42 from ITunes so I'll be up to date.
