Ok, so Deadpool 2 has been greenlit and Cable has been announced. I wanted to start this thread to avoid potential Spoilers in the Deadpool 1 thread.

Pulling the X-Men into these films is walking a thin line, since these take place in the present and right now the core films are in the '80s or something.

I'm pretty sure the X-Men in Deadpool are from Deadpool's time, so the current series takes place in the past.
What characters does Fox have the right to then? There's a nice graph about it, but that only applies to heroes.

I think Stephen Lang already played Cable in Avatar, but he might be a little too short...But maybe they can CGI his size like they did with Colossus...

Right now Fox can use anyone who is considered above all an X-Men character (I guess they can use FF stuff too). The only exception is Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, because in the comics before being Avengers they were prominent characters in the X-Men series (as bad guys!)

Fox has already used/wasted/killed off a lot of the big baddies - like Toad, Juggernaut, Emma Frost, etc. - but off the top of my head one they haven't used yet is Mr. Sinister.

It'd be interesting to see Deadpool with a boyfriend (Yes, Ryan and that guy who played Ajax wanted a boyfriend for Deadpool.

X-Men, I want Wolverine, Rogue... I think I saw Magneto in Deadpool movie.. he was unconscious after being injected and put into a coffin..

I know Wade's gonna often have his ugly scarface now but I hope there's flashback or plenty of screen time for his normal handsome face, heh.

And yes I want more crude humor, ass and crotch shots. And more heart in the movie.

It pains me that we can't have Hawkeye and Kate bishop in a Deadpool movie, because I love that Deadpool Hawkeye crossover.

Also the lack of spider-man causes me great pain.

Clearly Wolverine needs to make an appearance.

It pains me more that even if there might be a Spidey-Deadpool crossover in the future, it will most likely won't be Andrew Garfield as Spidey. What a mess.

Another thing I wanna see in the sequel is Copycat using her powers, in the comics she is a shape shifter who is like Mystique, except she can copy a mutant's power along with there appearance.

I wasn't disappointed by the ending, but one thing I was hoping to see when Wade revealed his face, was for Vanessa to say well...actually I have something to admit, and reveal her blue skin...maybe in the sequel...

It might though...
I was just thinking that in this particular corner of the X-Universe you can have your mutant ability brought on-line by a stressful event. What if the events at the end of the movie were enough to trigger hers?
