don't want to have anything TOO offensive that would drive away any of that very large fanbase. since the beginning this series has felt like a soap opera but with zombies.

'The Walking Dead' Premiere Didn't Go Down Well With Conservative Groups
http://moviepilot.com/p/the-walking-...rvative-groups if they can't take the extreme violence, then they shouldn't be watching a show about the zombie apocalypse.

Off topic but to those who found out about Glenn's death in the comic how did you react. For me I was shaken for like two days

at least they actually followed through in the tv series. Glenn's death at the hands of Negan was too pivotal a moment to cheap out of. i'm still disappointed as &%@$ at how that whole prison/woodbury thing went down!

now that he died on the show it wasn't as impactful... but seeing people react about it is funny... comic fans have had time to mourn haha

What got me was that after Negan took the first swing I thought to myself "that didn't seem too bad maybe Glenn could survive that" then I saw the his eyeball and I was like "oh @#$%". When I showed this to my friend he thought Glenn might be alive, I'm telling you when it came to fictional deaths nothing hurt me more then Glenn and I read the Runaways for godsakes.

it was far more upsetting when i read it in the comic.
the TV death was just comical! especially since they delayed the deaths in-between seasons. and started the episode dragging out the suspense even further with that "go get my hatchet" nonsense.

Hey, just in time for All Out War. **** this. The comic has never been better, but I'm probably done with this chickenshit show.

I really don't understand the appeal of these shows from the start. Sure, seeing a bunch of people eaten by zombies is always fun, but story-wise? I can just youtube all the best scenes and skip the rest.

Has anyone watched season 7 on Blu-ray yet? I'm wondering if there are uncensored versions of all of the Negan bits where he can say "F***," like they shot for the Blu-ray version of season 6's season finale.

It covers themes like humanity, love, loss, leadership, family, belonging, not belonging, trust, courage, ethics, fear, isolation. And many more elements I'm sure I have forgotten. There are dramatic scenes that don't even involve Zombies. That don't involve killing. Just talking. Using YouTube for scenes would be like reading random pages of a novel. I'm almost done watching season 7. |
