The original post claimed it was a Nintendo IP, which Castlevania is not. Another article posted then claimed that there was going to be 2 seperate shows based on the game, one being the now Netflix announced show and the one from the Adventure Time people.

There is only one show. The Netflix show is from the Adventure Time crew. There was never a show based on a Nintendo IP. The original post speculating it was Nintendo related was BS.

I liked it, but to be fair, there were only two games at the time to base it on so personalities and stuff weren't clearly established yet.

At the time, I would rush home on Fridays to watch it. I was into this more than the game. I'd tried the first one but was bored and couldn't figure it out. True irony. lol I got into the games when a little older. A Link to the Past.

Castlevania was released on Netflix today. I didn't realize the season was only 4 episodes. Looking forward to watching this over the weekend.

It also got renewed for an 8 episode Season 2 today.
