A small ray of light, I stopped by one of the Walmart stores in my area yesterday because I saw that they were starting the fall resets to the toy department earlier in the week. There was someone working the construction brick layouts as I was there and they had all of the planograms taped to the shelves. It looks like they will still be carrying at least the TMNT blind bags. Though I couldn't see any other TMNT Mega Construx items on the layout at a glance.

They had not finished the layouts so there was no product on the shelves yet. And even when the layout is complete, it will most likely get filled with the existing stock first. But at least there seems to be on going support for the line from one of the two biggest retailers. That's a good sign for seeing Series 6 of the blind bags. And this store is not the largest layout. Previously they only had the blind bags as well. So a larger store will likely carry more of the TMNT line.

I stopped at another store today that had completed their reset. They do have the TMNT blind bag figures. though they are now being dumped into a wire basket instead of the display boxes from Mattel. The only other TMNT set on this layout was the Mutagen Canister figures. So the lines aren't fully dead, but there isn't a lot of support left for them.

Also, I posted a listing in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum if anyone wnats some of the extra series 5 blind bag figures.

I wonder if some classic TMNT characters might make it into the Heroes line? Maybe somebody like Fugitoid. Or some more Samurai Turtles. Or Usagi Yojimbo.

Yes, he does have the darker skin tone like the bigger set Turtles compared to the bright colored single figures.

At mine they had 3 pegs for the tubes too so maybe they are making more, of course the workers were too dumb to fill the 3 pegs with the product they had they had them all on one peg.

I'm sure they will be plugging the pegs in no time.

They had the bin type set up at this WM

They also had the pegs for those new Star Trek and other Heroes things but no product.

This is some good news! I just got back from a vacation in Minnesota and Chicago. Checked a few Targets, a Wal-Mart, and a Toys R Us, none of them had any different stuff from Oklahoma.

Having seen more series 5 sets in dollar stores there is another numbering that starts and 22 and goes up. Don't have the details on which number is which figure for that set.

Generally they're along the thin flappy side parts, on the back, most often. Not sure if that's the case with this most recent wave but that's how all the others were. & the numbers are indented rather than ink or whatever.

They are on the back, along the side, near the bottom.
And the numbers I originally posted - the full codes are more like the ones Okagenologan posted ex. A22047TMT.

I was only listing the number part that varied from figure to figure (2nd and 3rd digits)

Several Walgreens around me have Series 4 figs on clearance right now for 99 cents each. Just a heads up in case it's a mass clearance everywhere. You might want to check your stores if you still need any of these. I nabbed a Mystic Raph, Baxter and clear Leo. Can't beat 3 for less than the normal price of one lol.
