Saw this a week ago or so... loved it, a worthy sequel to the first movie.

Definitely not as concise or believable, though (but well written).

That hamburger in the opening scene.

Saw this last night, I think it was a step down from the first one (I only saw the first one once, and it was a while ago, but I remember leaving the theatre more pleased than I did last night). All the actors did well with what they were given, at least. Julianne Moore was a decent villain, Jeff Bridges was good as the head of The Statesmen (and his Big Lebowski reference got a bigger laugh out of me than any other moment). I wish they had done a little more with Ginger Ale and Merlin's "tech support wanting to be field agents" B-plot. Maybe the 3 hour cut of the film fleshed out that story more. All in all the action scenes were very solid, I liked the camera techniques used in the final fight especially, but much of the rest of the movie just felt phoned-in to me.

Yeah, it's a good movie, I'm just tired of being told Channing Tatum is in a movie only to have him be barely in it, like GI Joe.

Yeah, that really surprised me. He was in it for, what, 10 minutes at the most? Which is too bad, I actually really liked him in it.

So what, do we think if they do a Kingsman III it'll feature Channing Tatum's Agent Tequila transplanted into the Kingsman? That's what the final scene of K2 seemed to be setting up. It's not a bad move, Channing Tatum is great as comic relief. It almost seems like the whole point of this movie is that they can have Tequila as Eggsy's partner

I dunno. I liked Tequila, but I'd rather see more of Harry and Eggsy working together. Loved the final fight in Golden Circle.
