What happens when a pregnant woman gets exposed to Mutagen Ooze?

Well, that would depend on if mutagen can pass through to the placenta. Then it would be a matter of if her fetus does or not.

Then it would be a question of how she mutates. What happens if she mutates into a non-mammalian animal?

But WOW that would make a cool story line! Especially on trying to figure out what to do for a child that was born a mutant. It would have spent its entire life like that, rather than being exposed in a traumatic incident.

That.... is a very good question.

On a related note, if it involves contact with the DNA of other organisms, why doesn't what people last ate count? Esp since it's increased 'contact' by actually digesting it. Like if you last had a chicken sandwich before mutation, well... Enjoy being a chicken. (But what if you had a mix of animal or plant DNA in your stomach...? Do you end up like that Hawk-Fish-Worm thing? 1/3rd human, 1/3rd chicken, 1/3rd salad? lol)

That said, I guess the kid is either affected based on what was most recently consumed OR not affected at all if dead DNA ingested doesn't have any impact.

Although if the dead ingested DNA does count... you could have had a chicken sandwich two hours ago then last petted your cat before leaving the house, got mutated, and become a cat woman who gives birth to a chicken child.

What. LOL

As a house guest? Sure. But come on... almost everyone is a little more lax at home. Maybe he's at least good about using the lint roller now and then, but surely there are times the Turtles notice rat fur left behind. lol I just want to see a *sigh* "Dad, seriously..."

Maybe he's a fan of Kikuchiyo in Seven Samurai
It kind of annoys me though that it looks nothing like it.

But I suppose it lends support to the fact that I've always maintained that yes, he (normally!) uses KATANA (not the fake 'Hollywood' sword)... some are just straight due to art style. If THAT can be labeled a dachi, then the other can certainly be labeled katana...

Seems like the Nick 2k12 toon had the most grotesque outcomes of mutagen exposure. In the case of a pregnant lady, I'd expect she and baby would probably fuse together into some two-headed monstrosity (or even more, if she's carrying twins, triplets, or some variety of "tuplets").

Oh god, triplets. That would make some spectacular and purposely awful looking, concept art and a very disturbing character. lol

edit: Totally agree on the fan arts.

Can't imagine the concept getting approval from the toy license channels, no doubt.

We'd need McFarlane toys to get a license to build anything like that.

Eh, just make a lady mutant and a baby mutant and put them in the same pack. Doesn't have to be that difficult.

That could work for Kangaroo mutant with her Joey in pouch!

YES ! I was thinking that right after making that post.

It might be trickier with action figures, but it's a pretty cool gimmick. Maybe the pouch could have a "drawer" that the specially jointed joey could be put in and out of.

It could be a more creative take on Walkabout. That's a character that could use some fresh exposure!

Kangaroo rescue worker that got a little too close to an Australian station of TCRI trying to maintain a mutagen leak? Maybe on her way to capture an injured roo and somehow got exposed?

I was thinking her human name could be "Ruth," and she'd be working as a conservationist/biologist/tour guide in the Outback until she and her unborn son are exposed to mutagen and then become... Kanga-Ruth and Joey! But as corny as that is, yours might be better. I think I stole my idea from the Young Justice animated take on Beast Boy's origin.

This needs to be an actual tale. Love that idea.

Oh, man. Now I'm visioning Leo playing FFVII; seeing Sephiroth and he gets a "aha" moment

The shorter odachi can be drawn from the hip like a regular tachi or katana, but the really long ones you'd have to hold the scabbard in your free hand so that you can draw with your full arm length, or have a servant hold it for you while drawing.
