so i just ordered the pizza box and newspaper from PPK but wondered why NECA put "better delivery" on the box. PPK box says "nobody delivers better". just checked the movie and PPK has it right, i thought NECA always boasted that these were movie accurate? can a company actually trademark that too? damn Domino's

Dominos might have trademarked that slogan.
I am pretty sure NECA checked on all these facts to avoid any legal issues.

Its more the fact they stole my design and claim to be "the original" when I clearly offered mine months prior and for cheaper. Alas, it was not something I had interest in doing long term and it was a springboard to my work Im doing now. That said, its the stolen design and false claim of being first that is the issue, not quality.

I could be totally wrong but I would assume to use dominos logo they would have to pay the royalties of some sort for using their logo. That would make the final product more costly to produce. Also you don’t need to go to ppk to get a dominos Booz there are many places online u can print a template onto some quality paper to recreate your self and it would cost you about 2.50

i agree about the royalties part, but i cant see NECA skimping on that since they stride for movie accuracy, and since all the 1/4 stuff sold so well they could have easily paid to use the logo. it stands out pretty well looking at them IMO

I figure foot soldier and Shredder will share body, just different head and armor.

I'm wondering; would it have cost that much to do a generic body and cloth garment? I would think that would make mold reuse more of a option, and therefore bring cost down. If you did cloth garments you could use the body for Shredder, Foot, and Casey, and maybe a few others in this line alone.

I think this looks great. I was just wondering here.

I never said it would be cheap. What I said was their stride for movie accuracy, and with the sales on these 1/4 scale figures they could have tacked on a little more cost to have more movie accurate accessories. I know I would have paid more for it

The textures look incredible. Really tough choice when it comes to purchasing one vs waiting for a possible smaller version.
