If i recall, I think it was in the running nearly every year of its existence? Losing every time of course... Shame that such a well produced show couldn't get it just once.

Yeah I thought it deserved a win, I'm going to assume the votes are from older kids up to adults.
Not sure who is in the run this year, not really interested but I think Loud House was a nominee last year, maybe this year also.

Don’t think it will be 52 episodes considering there are some half hour specials. I’m thinking that there will be about 46 episodes in season 1.

Probably 48, assuming the season finale is another half-hour episode.

Well we’re just about half way through season 1 and have gotten 3 half hour spots already. So I was just following that pace. Hopefully we get more than 1 half hour spot for the second half!

YES! I was right and it sounds awesome. Another episode to show case Leo's leadership abilities and without the others help. Wonder who high Jack's Leo's weapon though? Someone who has a grudge against him? I mean his brothers end up in trouble some how.

The tough pointless questions...


So does Draxum wear a mask/helmet, and if so, what does he look like under/without it?

And is the white part his actual face? We see him speak, so I assumed so, but given the edge around his eyes that make it look more mask-like, I'm not so sure...

Why do the Foot guys have flames on their heads? And when the bigger one in Longest Fight has the bear pj's on (...for some reason), why aren't they set on fire? The smaller guy in the same ep lit a blow torch with his, so it's not just a mystical flame that can't burn...

Are we ever going to find out what the heck Mayhem is or where he came from, or who tied the vial around his neck...

If Leo and Mikey are separate species of turtle, that have different shell shape and pattern, why are their shells so alike.

And Mikey, why do you wear a shoulder strap, and why is the whole thing so high up on you... More harness-like than belt.

1. I assume he does. I know he's a demon (?) but he would have a very abnormal hairline if it wasn't a helmet. It would also be pretty weird to have horns where the neck meets the jaw. Not to mention the greek armor noseguard.
2. You mean pink right? Could be, Green Goblin logic.

I'm guessing everyone wants to have that gauntlet Warren Stone got at the end of "Stuck Together". We know in that episode that the Foot Luntenant and Foot Brute were after it, likely because it is associated with the Shredder. However, they were thwarted. Then Warren Stone saw it, said "That looks useful" and took it for himself. Stone is largely a villain who is just there as a joke, so naturally, other villains such as Hypnopotamus are going to want to have it for themselves before it falls back into the hands of the Foot Clan.

Personal opinion of 'Rise' aside... the only comfort in the Turtles (at least in the modern incarnations) in general never winning after multiple times nominated is that we seem to be far from the only fandom that's tired of the same outcome time after time.


Edit: Although come to think of it.... if this was legitimately based on real votes, would the outcome necessarily be the same if Spongebob was judged ONLY on newer episodes that premiered each year? (Because lets face it, the quality has dropped in the last few years.) Rather than keep being judged on a majority of episodes that are a lot older than the kids voting for them. After all, the earliest eps will be turning 20 this year. What other property gets to win over and over based on something it came out with 20 years ago...
