The prices for the 1/4 figures have went up.
Financially it's no longer wise to buy multiples.
Wish there is a place that would offer discounts buying multiples.

Great looking figure, but man, he doesn't stand for ****. I think he's finally good now, but he's fallen over 3 or 4 times on me.

Like he'll be good for a few hours then I come back and he's laying down. And this is on stable shelves, on a basement floor, so it's not getting jostled.

Might be time to call an exorcist.

Nah, that's the major flaw with this toy.

Some reason last Wednesday I received a Non-Game Show fan at my door. I thought it was Insurance Salesmen at first but nope; they need to start practicing better for delivery.

I finally got him stable - hasn't fallen over for 2-3 days now. But it's a bit of a shame, I'm sure Shredder will have the same issue.

Fortunately/unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, it seems that they use these large-scale figures to work out the kinks on the smaller versions. I'd bet this isn't an issue by the time the small Foot Soldiers and Shredder roll out.

I saw a picture someone took of about 5 or 6 of these figures all posed together as a group. Dang, it looked cool. It really made me consider buying multiples of these things when the small ones are released, but I have to doubt I'll do it, based on space, if not price.

If stability is the only issue, that’s nothing. I think it’s the opposite with working out the kinks. I know everyone seems to prefer the smaller scale due to available space in your collection but the larger scale is much more impressive in detail than the smaller counterparts. Well worth the investment. Quarter scale rules all.

Tbh, it sounds like you are trying to convince yourself of the fact that the larger scale figures are better. Have you chosen to invest in those instead of the smaller ones?

I don't see how it could "be the opposite with working out the kinks". The large ones come out before the small ones, so how would the small ones help work out the kinks with the larger figures? It makes no sense.

The quarter scale is cool, no doubt. It's great to walk in a room and be able to see them immediately from 15 feet away. The cloth used for the mask is also nice. I prefer the smaller ones, myself. I think they appear a bit more seamless in the articulation, and the paint job more authentic. And yes, they take up less space. I think both scales have their perks.

I think they’re called 2 ups or something like that but yeah they usually start with a larger prototype and then scale it down.

We get it, you're trying to justify all the money you've spent.

I have both the quarter scale and the 7" figures and I gotta agree with this sentiment. Obviously, it's all up to personal taste and although I haven't opened up my 7" figures (waiting to get a better location set up for them when we get our new IKEA workstation) I did get the chance to see how they pose and work when my brother opened up his four pack. There's just something amazing about the 1/4th collection that I prefer, it's hard to explain.

Love 'em both though.

Maybe this has something to do with the long wait for Shredder. Hopefully it helps with QC issues. Just a few thoughts.

Cool maybe Shredder will come out somewhat soon, I wouldn't have doubted seeing it get delayed. Maybe the foot soldier was delayed to be released closer to Shredder. Got my foot soldier last week, also have the four 7" turtles unopened they look cool but I do agree there is something very special about having such movie likenesses particularly in this scale. Never thought I'd see the day we had such quality figures, even the TCRI canister and baby turtles are cool although more niche.

Why does almost all NECA eye paint appear to be looking up.

It’s the same thing with the smaller cartoon and arcade figures.
