I read that Roman Reigns/Joe Anoai was asked to go into self quarantine and monitored up to Wrestlemania 36. It is due to his leukemia diagnosis. I know it was in remission after 15 weeks, but it would eventually be gone. I don't understand the medical conditions but its said it's a lifelong condition.

I just saw this. I wonder why he does the regular Smackdown show. Seem like it would be equally concerning or is he done until after the pandemic? As a fan of his I am disappointed that the match will not happen however I am glad that he put his own health ahead of getting the title and knowing he will not get another chance to work with Goldberg. I wonder if others will follow his example. I also would like to understand his medical condition more fully.

Apparently WWE and ESPN did work out an agreement to air past Wrestlemanias in the sports dead time. After everything going on I wish Vince would wake up and push it back to Memorial Day weekend. Everything other sport listened. I thought Miz getting sick and Roman being cautious would have woke up the old man. John Cena perhaps used his star power to film the match in advance during the pandemic or he wouldn't do it.

I guess I am really late to the party, but Eric Bischoff only oversaw Smackdown for three months? I thought he and Heyman were showrunners behind the scenes? All the talk late summer about relocating and transitioning into the job.

That was forever ago already. And apparently it was mostly a "ceremonial" position.

"Overseeing creative, but with no real input towards creative." Like, what does that even mean? To most people, it just meant that Vince has people in place who can absorb the blame for his terrible decisions. But since everyone knows the buck stops with him, nobody ever really bought it.

Regardless, I like Eric a lot. I'm glad he had the foresight not to sell his old house and apparently he was able to move back home with a minimum of fuss. Probably wishes he'd just stayed home.
