Now THAT is the whitest pie I have ever heard of. That thing is so white it comes with a tiki torch and a Parlor subscription.

Just found out I am eligible to volunteer at my local homeless shelter (was kinda surprised you had to be eligible but they just don't have much room and also don't allow everyone to volunteer for various reasons). But yeah, on my days off from work, I'm gonna start doling out food, sorting clothes and shoes etc. for the less fortunate.
The last time I helped a homeless person, I invited a stranger into my home, let her spend the night, gave her a couple hot meals, donated her a few clothes and gave her $40. She left the following day and went on a quest to California. We became friends on FB and she got to her small Cali town, got a job and became housed. She now works as a folksinger-songwriter at her local coffee shop. Helping others is the point to life IF you have the means. I'm pretty poor myself, but there are a lot who are less fortunate than myself. Last edited by PizzaPower1985; 11-27-2020 at 12:10 PM. |

PizzaPower, that is awesome. You are awesome. Keep being awesome.
Making me happy- Hubby made me an early birthday dinner Saturday night, and it was so good. Ham, scalloped potatoes and mac n cheese casserole, with Hawaiian sweet rolls. He's a great cook!

^^^^ Thank you, Miss Duckie. I like to help people. Glad you got a good meal to enjoy.
Happy Maker: 1st morning @ shelter. Handed out 38 coats (they make you count for inventory purposes). That's all I did. Met a lot of older people. Met a former Iraq vet. named John. This poor guy... 35, my age. He told me more than anything he just wanted someone to talk to. I stepped aside from coat duty and just listened. We talked for about 40 minutes. He was saying that he is temporarily homeless because the VA (Vet. Admin.) is reviewing his disability case and until he gets more $$$ he's down and out. Both his parents were very old when he was overseas and died during his service. His wife left him because of his PTSD and he's just having a time. I shook his hand, told him my name and wished him the best. He hugged me. It was great. After the shelter I went to the grocery and have been cooking all day. That kinda thing with the wife leaving always gets my goat. Like okay, we don't know the full story, for all we know the guy was violent with her or whatever, but let's assume not. Removed from that, it becomes "I have to leave because YOUR very real trauma is inconvenient to ME. So I'm out and y'all can have fun dealing with that kinda sh*t all by yourself."
I mean, when people get married, you take a supposedly-sacred oath to stick together "For Better or For Worse", and in my experience - and this is gonna sound misogynist as hell, but I have to call what I see - for women, that means "Until it becomes inconvenient." And I just really don't like that. Like yeah, sh*t gets hard, it gets hard for everyone. That doesn't mean you just up and quit on someone. You literally promised not to! What does "For as long as you both shall live" even MEAN, then? I mean, for whatever it's worth, men almost never initiate divorce. Even if a guy is unhappy, he'll usually stick it out. Women, it seems like, often bolt at the very first sign of trouble and come up with any multitude of reasons to justify it. Which tells me that they only got married for really bullsh*t reasons in the first place. When it comes to guys in the military, the sad fact is that their wife at home is almost always cheating on them, too, and that's a whole other thing to deal with. And they'll be like, "Well he's not even here, what am I supposed to do?" Uh, I'unno, stay faithful? Honor your f*cking vows? Again, any "inconvenience" becomes a back door, sometimes, and I really can't stand that sh*t. I'unno, sorry to rant, it's just I really feel for guys in that situation, seen it go down like that a few times.

good news is, with enough money and patience, you can build a brand new pinball machine for the cost of a refurbed old one.
Covid Project 2020 playfield got installed today. halfway there.

Yeah, in my experience nobody on either side ever really knows what to expect before they get shipped out, but I mean, those vows aren't supposed to be taken lightly regardless. Like anybody else, I've been dumped, and I've been cheated on, and the worst part in each case was knowing that I was the only one who was ever REALLY 100% involved with the relationship. I never got into a relationship I didn't expect to last and it really bothers me that some people treat it so casually.
Anyways... my Uncensored Sarah Underwood 2021 Calendar came in the mail today. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO god damn. If I were God, that's how every chick would look. Although some of them would be brunettes or redheads. But yeah, otherwise they'd ALL look like that. She's extremely naked. Thank God.

Extremely naked? Is she taking off her skin? There's just neked.
But in order to understand better I'm gonna need a few pics to determine if she is extremely naked. |

Happy maker... While the weather might be awful, at least it made most stay home so my stores were quiet and fewer people trying to get underfoot while working. If this rain doesn't fix the drought in some places then nothing will. |

She's also on Facebook as Sara Jean Underwood, where she's as naked as FB allows. Which is still pretty naked. Y'know how some people look "naked" even if they're wearing clothes? Yeah, she's one'a them. She always looks naked; when she's actually naked that's just, like, Bonus Points. But yeah man, it's easy to find. This is the first time I've ever given her any money, but allegedly she's not doing calendars anymore after this one and I figure I kinda owed her by now since I've been staring at her nipples for over 10 years for free. It's the least I could do. Definitely look up that yoga video though, man. Like sure, she's completely naked, but she's also super-good at yoga. Which explains why she has such a big ass for a vegan; that and all the hiking. The calendar's $40, which is kinda steep, but... whooo. I honestly feel pretty okay about it, now that I've got it. There's this one where she's wearing a Wonder Woman outfit with "Strategically-placed" cutouts, and... oh man. -------------- Aside from ALL THAT, had a good workout at the gym and got caught up with some old buddies I hadn't seen since the gym I worked at shut down. That's always awesome. ...And not for nothin', but since it's me... sure are a lotta f*ckin' hotties at that place.

You know, I look around at some of my friends from when we were much younger, and most of them have either been divorced at least once, or never even made it down the aisle in the first place for various reasons. And then I look next to me on the couch, and I wonder- what are we doing right that none of them did? We've had our share of hard times- sweet goddess have we- but through it all, we have weathered every storm TOGETHER, and have been each other's rocks and lifelines. And I can't help but wonder where the difference is. What are we doing that is so different than the ones who failed, and how hard can it really be, if we made it, even after all the hardships we've faced?
