I have no idea if that's what happened, or even if that's how it works in the toy industry. I just know I've run across such problems in the vidya game realm.
Teemu, pretty much what I said and what Mikey See said.

There is a difference between
1. pre-order of a set amount (lootcrate) of a factory minimum
2. a made to order, fully open pre-order (super 7 tmnt)
3. a pre-order of product already made (hasbro pulse tmnt/power rangers)

This falls more into the 1st category.

The factory prob has a set minimum amount like 10k units, and then it steps up in units of lets say 3000. So let's say they sold 10,124. They aren't going to prodiuce that next level of 13K since they would be sitting on all those units.

Yeah sure you could say "but look how hot these are they would easily sell" but they also would easily not sell and they also have to store them, put them back up for sale, etc and that all costs more money and risk.

But they took all the orders and took people's money. It makes no sense to not produce them. As far as limits by the factory? Um, no...a factory will make the MOQ. The more you order, the more willing they ar to produce and the costs go down significantly.

I might sell mine if the offer given to me is fair by someone else. He is not essential to have for my collection.

Interesting. Did you order two complete sets or just two of the first crate? Asking because I ordered two complete sets and got a shipping notice today that is suppose to contain both.

My statement literally says 2 complete sets.

If I go into my order history 1 shows "fulfilled" and 1 "unfulfilled" You always get 2 separate tracking numbers for multiple crates. Last time I ordered 3.

yeah they took the money and are refundiing it when they realized the mistake of overselling it.

Yeah a factory will make the MOQ but they all won't just do random amounts like a couple hundred over here and there. Many factories have strict amounts of units you can go up by, hence when I said 10K as a MOQ and perhaps the factory they use can only do increments of 1000 so if they don't make it 11k in sales then they have to refund all orders that are past the 10k threshold. When I worked in corp retail that was pretty standard, if you can make it to the next production number bump it is better to sell the 10K you KNOW you will sell then be stuck with 100s of units you aren't guaranteed to sell and have to warehouse for who knows how long.

They should honour all preorders and sell any spares on the site. They'd sell out in seconds. A dumb move and people will lose confidence.

Still heard nothing from them regarding Danny. I'm in the UK.

Just got shipping notice for two of my three orders. The All-in and one of two movie-only orders.

Edit: and just now the third.

Even though I got my tracking number on Tuesday, it looks like it's still stuck in the "Label" phase.

Yeah, FedEx alerted me of the tracking number and label being generated back on the 11th and it hasn’t advanced from there yet. Lootcrate officially emailed me the tracking number yesterday.

Yeah, they likely are making all the labels but haven't actully shipped it. This happens a ton with them.

Exactly same situation with "label" phase at San Diego.

Historically speaking, for those that order the complete bundle, do they ship the loots individually or wait until all the crates have arrived and are ready to ship?

Individually.

And last time the bonus figure was packed in with the last crate.
